General participant safety and instruction briefing

  1. Stay away from the edges. Risk of death from falling.
  2. Keep the area tidy and retain your rubbish (including cigarettes) and take it home with you or use the bags provided.
  3. Avoid trampling, and damaging the wild plants. Do not disturb or kill the local species.
  4. Be aware of your surroundings and pay attention to uneven/unstable ground underfoot.
  5. Keep your vehicles to the main road or obvious parking areas.
  6. Do not throw anything over the edges or dislodge loose materials.
  7. If you came as a group, ensure you stay with your group leader and do not wander off. Wander off alone at your own risk.
  8. Do not tamper with or remove your safety equipment once fitted. Ask for assistance from a guide.
  9. There is a first aid kit on site. Ask a Guide.
  10. Do not allow yourself to be exposed to the sun too much. Stay hydrated and drink fluids
  11. Keep loose clothing and hair tied back so it does not get trapped and remove jewellery and items that could snag/catch on things.
  12. Do not participate in this activity under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication.
  13. Ensure you advise our guides about pregnancy, or medical conditions that might affect your activity.
